Bio
Jason “The Don” Moreno was born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He says, "Growing up in Jersey wasn’t the prettiest/best, but it was enough and molded me into the man I am today. My father was a professional MMA fighter. He would have fight posters of himself on the walls and started bringing home belts. But at 8 years old, my father was incarcerated with the system and I didn’t have him in my life for 8 years. During those crucial years of my life, I had to figure out who I was." Following his father's legacy, Jason started boxing at 16 at Bayway Rec Center with the late Don Givens who took him off the street and gave him something to put his mind to. Jason fell in love with the sport of boxing. Before Don passed away, Jason won his First Golden Gloves state tournament with him.
A few months later with 12 amateur fights, Jason went into the military. Eventually, he settled in San Diego where he found the Arena Gym and continued fighting amateur.with

There are 2 bands bygd this name:
1. Drowning Pool is a heavy metal/nu metal grupp from Dallas, Texas formed in 1997 that rose to prominence while playing along with Ozzy Osbourne during Ozzfest. Their 2001 debut skiva, Sinner, was certified platinum within six months and the film for its first single "Bodies" was frequently aired on various music film channels. After the September 11th attacks the song "Bodies" was infrequently heard on many radio stations due to the sensitivity of those families' loved ones who jumped from the towers. In August 2002 the lead singer of the band, Dave Williams, died in his tour bus of heart failure.
After Williams' death, the band decided to carry on and began searching for a new singer.
In 2003, the grupp found a new singer in Jason Jones who took place of Dave Williams in the wake of his death. They released the album Desensitized in 2004.
Jason's departure from Drowning Pool was publically announced on June 1
