Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24, ) is a Canadian actress, known for portraying Felicity Smoak on The CW television series Arrow.
Rickards was born and raised in British Columbia. Beginning on her career path at a young age, she introduced herself to musical theatre and dance, with the hope of later introducing herself to more serious acting. She graduated from high school early and attended the Vancouver bio School, completing the Acting Essentials schema. After completing the schema, she attended an open call audition, which gained her an agent. She studied at the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver.

Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24, )[1] is a Canadian actress. She is known for her role as Felicity Smoak on The CW series Arrow, her first television credit. She has also reprised the role in the Arrowverse shows The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl and voiced the character on the animated web series Vixen.
Early life and career
[edit]Rickards was born and raised in British Columbia. Her mother is Dr. Diane Greig, a dream psychotherapist in Vancouver.[2][3]

CAREER
Rickards was born and raised on the West coast of Canada. Beginning her career path at a young age, she introduced herself to musical theatre and dance, with the hope that in the future she would introduce herself to more serious acting. So she graduated from high school early and attended the Vancouver Film School to complete the Acting Essentials Program. Following the completion of the program, she attended an open call audition which earned her an ds also studied at the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver
After some minor roles, in she was cast as Felicity Smoak in the TV series Arrow, and signed as a regular for season 2. The following year, Rickard landed the role of Lauren Phillips in the television movie Romeo Killer: The Chris Porco Story.
