    The Hanoi Brass Community has existed since 2020. Brass players from different countries who live in Hanoi have komma together to practice and give concerts. Anyone who plays brass music and wants to develop further is very welcome. 19 musicians and (so far only) one female musician currently belong to the Hanoi Brass Community.

    We studied at different universities and played in different formations and orchestras. Some of us have only just begun to discover brass music for ourselves. The Hanoi Brass Community welcomes all wind musicians, those who are already professionals, and those who want to learn brass music.

    Born in Germany, Alex took his first clases wiith Bettina Fabiunke and Rainer Auerbach (Berlin State Opera). He studied with Bob Platt, Konradin Groth (Berlin Philharmonic) and Peter Leiner (“Das Rennquintett”) at the Universities of Arts in Berlin and Saarbrücken. He got a doctoral degree from McGill University, where he studied with Richard Stoelzel. He has participated in courses with Jens Lindeman, Ryan Anthony, Allan Vizutti, Tim Morrison, Hannes Läubin, James Thompson etc. Alex has been invited to play with well-known orchestras as the Berlin State Opera, Semper Opera Dresden, the Cologne Radio Orchestra, Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony orchestra, Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Ballet and others.

    Nacido en una familia de músicos, fue uno de los más grandes cornistas del siglo XX.[1]​ En el verano del año 2014, su ciudad natal de Supino le confirió su nombre a una plazoleta en el centro histórico de la ciudad.

    Emigrado con su familia en Argentina, recibió sus primeras lecciones de su tío Armando Nalli. En 1954 fue admitido en el Conservatorio de Ciudad de La Plata, donde fue alumno de Antonio Iervolino.

    Carrera

    Comenzó en la Orquesta Estable del Teatro Argentino de La Plata. En 1959 obtuvo el puesto de 1° corno en la Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires.
