What I Do
I am a music director, composer, singer-songwriter, poet, music curator and educator. I am based out of Dhaka, Bangladesh, working as a performer, choir director, music composer and university lecturer. Performing is my life’s essence and to my delight I get to do it for a living all over the world. Current projects are my own solo set, Ghaashphoring Choir, part of Coke Studio Bangla (Season One) in addition to my freelance composing work.
Who I Am
I'm a part of this beautiful universe and I aim to increase the positivity, the healing, the growing, the uniting of all of us. I believe music has that universal connection and power to do such things and I intend to be a part of that beautiful segment of the universe that balances the sadness with the laughter. I have the honour of being a student of my guru Sujit Mustafa, and class of 2014 of Berklee College of Music. Learning is my biggest strength, and if asked who I am, I will say I am a student of music.
