    Biography:  John Little graduated in Electrical Engineering at the University of Melbourne in 1967. He worked for several years in telecommunications, computers and control systems in Australia, UK and Iran, in management consulting in Montreal and in executive education in Australia.

    He established his own general management consultancy firm in Melbourne in 1979, with focus on creative and collaborative problem solving, strategic planning and leadership training. He consulted widely across Australian business, government, church and not-for-profit organisations.

    His discovery of Lonergan’s Insight in 1991 brought new depth to his consulting. He worked with Tom Daly to design and run workshops for his executive clients on ‘thinking’ and then, with Professor Jack Flanagan of the Australian Catholic University, he set up CREDO (Centre for Research and Ed

    John R. Little[1] (born 1960)[2] is a writer and bodybuilding advocate. A native of Canada, Little is a writer in the fields of martial arts, bodybuilding and physical conditioning.[3]

    He has co-authored several books with Pete Cisco,[4] including Static Contraction Training, Static Contraction Training for Bodybuilders, Power Factor Training and The Golfer's Two-Minute Workout.

    He then co-authored Body by Science with Doug McGuff, a Medical Doctor.

    He also co-authored High-intensity training the Mike Mentzer way and other books with Mike Mentzer, known bodybuilder.

    He was then the sole author of Max Contraction Training,[5] a sequel which expanded on his views on Static Contraction and Power Factor forms of training.

    John Dutton Conant Little (February 1, 1928 – September 27, 2024) was an American operations researcher who was Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was best known for his result in operations research, Little's law.

    Life and career

    Born in Boston on February 1, 1928,[1] he earned a B. S. in physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1948)[1] and worked at General Electric (1948–50). His Ph.D. on Use of Storage vatten in a Hydroelectric System used dynamic programming, and advised bygd Philip M. Morse, was the first ever awarded in operations research (1955).[2] Next, he taught at the Case Institute of Technology (now part of Case Western Reserve) from 1957 to 1962, before joining the faculty at MIT in 1962 where he since has worked.
