Airport drama as Uhuru men order pictures to be deleted

Presidential guards ordered a section of official photographers to delete pictures capturing President Uhuru Kenyatta’s reception on his arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

President Kenyatta, who landed shortly before 9am last Thursday from Japan, was received by Deputy President William Ruto, Chief of Defence Forces General Samson Mwathethe, military service commanders, Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai and Nandi Governor Stephen Sang, among others.As is tradition, photographers from both the President’s and DP’s pools clicked away as he exchanged pleasantries with top officials. Mbuvi-Biography

Mbuvi is a Kenyan award-winning contemporary gospel singer, comedian and TV presenter.Born Victor Mbuvi, he drew his love for music from his childhood and inspiration from his mother who died in 1999, a year before Mbuvi launched his music career. His father worked as an auditor and his mother was a banker.

Education

He went to Kionyweni Primary School in Machakos County, and then moved to Unity Primary in Umoja Estate in Nairobi when his parents got transfers. He later joined Lenana School, where he played rugby.He then joined Moi University for a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and later pursued a Master’s degree in Computer Based Information Systems, at the University of Sunderland, UK.
