James Arthur Zorn (born May 10, 1953) is an American former professional football player and coach. Zorn was a left-handed quarterback, and is best known as the starting quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks for their first eight seasons. He was the quarterback coach for the Seattle Seahawks from 2001 until the 2007 season. Before the 2008 season Zorn was originally hired by the Washington Redskins to serve as offensive coordinator.[1] Two weeks after being hired, he was promoted as the team's head coach.[2][3]
Shortly after being fired following the 2009 season, Zorn was hired as quarterbacks coach of the Baltimore Ravens. Zorn spent one season as the Ravens' quarterback coach before serving two years as the quarterback coach of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2011 and 2012. Career Summary
Jim Zorn was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1997 to 2012, finishing his career as the quarterbacks coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. Over his sixteen years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 130-126-0. He was the head coach of the Washington Redskins from 2008 until the 2009 season, during which time the Redskins went 12-20-0. During his career he was a head coach for two seasons. He was fired from the Redskins on Monday, January 4, 2010.

Zorn was a left-handed quarterback, and is best known as the youthful and charismatic leader of the (then-expansion) Seattle Seahawks of the NFL, for their first seven-and-a-half seasons. He was the quarterbacks coach for the Seattle Seahawks in the 2007 season. He was hired by the Redskins to be their head coach starting with the 2008 season and remained head coach until being fired in the early morning of January 4, 2010, the day after the final game of his second årstid as coach. Shortly thereafter, Zorn was hired as Quarterbacks Coach of the Baltimore Ravens. Zorn was released as quarterbacks coach of the Ravens on January 27, 2011. Zorn was added to the Kansas City Chiefs coaching staff as their new quarterbacks coach on February 15, 2011.
